Wide petals of deep red and orange on these large, 4 ½” daisy-like blooms. Extra petals give the flowers a fuller look and the super-strong stems make it a natural for cut flowers. This wildflower is long-lived, easy to grow, and easy to maintain. 36-48” tall. Prune spent flowers to promote new growth and repeat blooms. Or leave a few blooms, full of seeds, for the birds to eat over winter. Blooms appear frocm mid-summer through fall. Plant 30-36” apart, preferably in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant.
