This carefree perennial has beautiful 1" round clusters of lavendar-pink flowers that begin blooming in late spring to early summer. With a height of 10-12", Rising Star works well for borders or in containers. Also great for rock gardens as it prefers well-drained soil and is drought tolerant. Butterflies love the fragrant flowers. The leaves, also called chives, are edible. Prefers full sun.
