Pepper, Yellow Monster

Item # 6533 Capsicum annuum

Sweet giant!

70 days. These colossal peppers start as big, sweet, elongated green bells that mature to a brilliant yellow color and get even sweeter! Yellow Monsters are normally over 7" long and 4" wide at the shoulder. You'll get heavy yields all season long from sturdy 27" plants. Don't pass up this new one!

Planting guide: Sow seed half inch deep indoors in a box in a sunny window or in a hotbed. A warm temperature is essential. When the plants have their second leaves, transplant or thin to 2 inches apart. After danger from frost is past, set outdoors in rows 3 feet apart and 2 feet apart in the row, but before doing so, harden the plants gradually exposing them to the outdoor air for about a week. It requires 8 to 10 weeks to grow plants ready to set out.

These items are useful when starting seeds indoors for transplanting:

Jiffy-7 Peat Pellets
Peat Pots, 2 1/4" round
Peat Pots, 3" round
3" square pots
4 1/2" round pots

For protecting your transplants against late, unexpected frosts choose between Hotkaps plant protectors and Wall O' Water plant protectors.

Everything you need to get your plants off to a great start!
