Thousands of showy pink blossoms!
The Red Bud is the first tree to bloom in spring. Deep, rosy-pink flowers appear in late April in dense masses and they are followed by lovely, dark, glossy-green heart-shaped leaves. Red Buds will reach 15-25' -- very fast-growing. Easily cultivated, but prefers sandy loam, so if soil is heavy, mix in sand and/or peat moss when planting. We ship 2-3’ nursery grown trees.
