Tree Peonies
Tree peonies are some of the most impressive plants in the garden. Unlike herbaceous peonies, tree peonies are woody bushes that don't die back in the winter. The bush grows to about 4 ft. tall and up to 5 ft. wide with lush green foliage. What makes tree peonies stand out, though, are their flowers. Each bush may produce up to 200 big, often fragrant, flowers. They create quite an impression in the garden! They're also long-lived plants, living for generations. Most tree peonies grow best in zones 4-8 and in full sun to partial shade. Browse Direct Gardening's selection of tree peonies for sale. They're available in many outstanding colors.
