Climbing Roses
Add romance and color to the garden with climbing roses. Whether planted as a backdrop to perennial or annual flower beds or trained to climb a trellis or arch, climbing roses make a statement in the garden. Like other rose plants, climbing roses feature elegant, colorful flowers that open during the summer months. Many varieties are also very fragrant. Because many climbing roses can grow 10-12 ft. tall with a 5-6 ft. spread, plan for their mature height and spread when planting them in the garden. They grow best in full sun (six or more hours of direct sunlight daily) and in well-drained soil. Direct Gardening offers climbing roses for sale in a variety of flower colors.
