An heirloom variety from France, Monge has all of the qualities of a great lilac - rich color, intoxicating fragrance and huge flower clusters. The foliage even turns an attractive bronze in the fall. The vigorous shrubs grow 10-12' tall and 8-10' wide in sunny garden areas.
